If I run the script manually as admin it works as usual. I thought maybe it was ignoring the GPO due to version number so I created a new separate GPO for each version - still no. For months I had just been adding the new uninstall batch file to the original GPO. Permissions on my GPO$ folder have not changed (SYSTEM has full control), RSOP.MSC shows the uninstall GPO as being applied, registry (Group Policy\State) shows the GPO and has the same version as GPMC. I still have version 8_25 and 8_31 everywhere!
